Trainees of Matrushri A.G. Medat P.T.C. College, Palanpur, celebrated the 'Janmashtami Festival' with great enthusiasm and devotion on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at Motasada Anupam Primary School as part of their school internship. The main objective of this program was to instill the values of Indian culture in schoolchildren and explain the sacred importance of festivals through educational activities. A devotional and enthusiastic atmosphere was witnessed throughout the school premises on this day. Under the skilled guidance of the trainees, the school students presented beautiful plays, mesmerizing Raas-Garba, and bhajans based on the life events of Lord Shri Krishna. Along with this, the trainees gave highly inspiring speeches on the life message of Shri Krishna, the knowledge of the Gita, and the social significance of Janmashtami. The main and most exciting attraction of this grand celebration was the 'Matki Phod' (Dahi Handi) program organized on the school grounds. To break the pot tied high in the ground, the students enthusiastically formed a human chain and prepared a Govinda troupe. When the little Krishnas broke the pot amidst the sky-renting slogans of 'Nand Gher Anand Bhayo, Jai Kaniya Lal Ki' and 'Hathi Ghoda Palkhi, Jai Kaniya Lal Ki', the entire atmosphere echoed with thunderous applause and became completely immersed in devotion to Krishna.The Principal and the entire staff of Motasada Anupam Primary School openly praised and thanked all the trainees of Matrushri A.G. Medat P.T.C. College for this beautiful, well-planned, and successful organization. This festival proved to be extremely delightful, memorable, and culturally enriching for the children.
